So, CoD4 for PC or 360?

After hearing a lot of reviews, I'm going to get CoD4. But which version? I have a killer PC (Q6600, 8800GTX, XP/Vista32, 4GB RAM) and a 360Elite. I usually have my 360 connected to my PC's Dell 24" 1920x1200 WLCD.

My son and neighbor both have CoD4 for the 360, but I really don't like FPS's on it's controller. I can handle single player, but don't do so well with analog sticks on multiplayer. Mouse/Keyboard though I rock with.

cant beat the mouse and keyboard. its the best when it comes to fps. you said it yourself that you cant play with a controler and its not like it not popular on pc because it already has 8000 servers  .

Yep, not easy. Both have benefits over the other. Hasn't anyone tried both? :)

Splitscreen isn't that big of a deal since my son has his own 360, so does my brother and my friends. Although we also have PC's too.

Splitscreen was another reason I got my own 360. My son was better at screen looking than I am and he kicks my butt when we splitscreen :( I at least have a nominal chance on my own screen.

No question...get it on the PC. With your system and monitor it will visually look better and play better with Keyboard and mouse IMO...I got the game for both though. PC for me...360 for friends.

your system is better than mine, play it on the PC

actually the list of COD4 servers on PC is at least 20 000 long, it seems it doesn't want to show more than that, but it did cap at that number recently so it prob aint many more than that ... for now

for comparison: it's competitors:
CS has 26.8k servers
CS:S 27.7k

if u have the PC for it yeah not get it for the PC if you prefer a mouse. But if you still want to play it on the 360 and want to use a mouse and keyboard, you can use this:

I hooked my PC up to my 42" 1080P at full res and it looks.. WOW!!!! Can't beat the mouse and keyboard though. I am upset that I can't play the 360 guys here at work on the PC though. That's the only downer. Unless you have a group of 360 friends that play, or you like gaming on the TV. FPS are better on a PC hands down.

I bought it for my PS3 because my friend got it as well. Although my computer would play it flawlessly, it is kinda nice on the PS3 with no lag and a 55" television. Definitely took some time to get used to the controller for aiming, and you still don't have the same level of control, but then again... I can hook up a keyboard and controller to my PS3 if I really wanted to :) I would recommend it for the PC for you because you have an Xbox...
