So I've decided to go wireless, but I have a few questions

Right now I have Cox internet with the standard Motorola modem and a D-Link DI-604 router (wired). I was looking around on newegg, and I've pretty much decided on the LINKSYS WRT54GL wireless router. First, how will I go about installing it? Second, what other stuff will I need (ie access points etc)- I plan on having my desktop, a laptop, and an Xbox 360 all on the network. I hope you are not going to go wireless for all. Your lag time will be very large. Make your Desktop and 360 wired, and laptop wireless.

You can add a AP to your existing router, with a spare lan port. Seperate AP out perform the combo units. Gives more flexability as to where you can set it up at for max performace in your enviroment.
