So i know i should run an ehternet cable but i havent been able to get one yet, anyway My PC runs off of wifi right now with an adapter. Thing is, the the speeds and latency are sooo bad.
Currently Running the Ookla speed test on this machine it is
55ms Ping 1.33 mbs Dn and 1,62 mbs Up.

Ran the same test on my girlfriends chromebook and her speeds are:
24ms 62.60Dn and 8.08 Up
Its not the distance away from the router

PC Specs (This is gonna make some people cringe):
CPU: AMD FX 4200
GPU: Sapphire Radeon r9 280x
MoBo: MSI 760gma p34(fx)
Ram: 6gbs of what i have in there
Wifi Adapter: Netgear A6100

Help?

I will try that, but I know of a thing like AMD quick Stream that is basically bloatware that takes up bandwidth and space, I dont have That particular program but i was wondering if i could expect to find something like that on my PC?

Thanks for the advice so far.

alright, it increased just a little but not enough for it to be the issue

Just to clarify, tested with a wired connection? Have you checked for the latest drivers for the wireless adapter? Have you checked Windows Task Manager / Resource Monitor to see if there is any network activity that could be slowing your connection?

You might also try changing the wireless channel on the router to help determine if it could be wireless interference.

Yes i did hook it to an ethernet and it worked just fine for that. I will try to re download the drivers.

I appreciate the help.

Question from kennymccormicklive : "Trying for another solution"

So i had posted here:http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3807075/wifi-problems.html
To figure out my wireless internet problems. But so far there has been to responses from anyone about anything that i have been suggested to attempt. So i would like some more help?

I have done the following (And here are the results):
I have moved my PC closer to the router. thus it did increase my internet speeds, but is still obviously bottlenecked..
-Uninstalled and re-installed my Netgear A6100s Drivers (No improvement)
-Hooked my computer up to an ethernet (Internet worked flawlessly.)

I will answer any questions anyone has, i appreciate the help.
