I've been recently expanding my storage and going through some major changes on how my system handles storage. (if you haven't been able to tell by all my posts).
I've noticed that Seagate runs a few different HDDs in the 7200 RPM bracket:
The Barracuda ST(?)
The Barracuda XT
The Constellation ES
Now, I know the Constellation ES is an Enterprise Level server drive, and that the generic 7200 Barracuda (ST2000DM001) is a consumer-level drive, but what the heck is the Barracuda XT? I've seen it around for as much as 240 dollars and as little as 130 (depending on where you look). There seems to be a lot more data on the ST2000DM001 than the XT (ST32000641AS)
I also saw in a Tom's Hardware article that Seagate is shutting down the XT and Green lines.

So the short is:
What is the XT, and should I steer around it?
