socket 1151 skylake cooler compatibility question

i have a question for the skylake owners out there.i want to buy a XIGMATEK Thor's hammer for my i5 6600 socket 1151 but i am not sure if it will work. can you experienced builders please tell me if it will? i read online that 1150 1155 and 1156 cpu coolers are interchangeable with 1151 is that true? thanks for your help ill post full specs if you guys want.
