Software doesn't stop crashing and internet is suddenly slowed.

Yesterday, I had installed a new 725w PSU by Cooler Master.

After setting it all back in and booting up my desktop, I began to notice that the download speed had turned extremely slow, to the point where it would take 5 minutes to load a 3 minute YouTube video. (The speed had been 32 Mbps, is now 0.62 Mbps)

On the other hand, Skype, Steam, Firefox & a few other applications won't open without crashing.

Possible your psu is not providing proper power to motherboard.

Without you saying that the PSU was replaced my immdiate assumption would be a virus.

Try a differen PSU, if problem stops it is psu, if problem resumes it is most likely software related, could be ram related as well but that should cause a bsod or system restart.

Sort of sounds like Malware, may want to run MalwareBytes (they have a free version).....also might try and go into SafeMode w/ networking and see if the problem shows up there, if not then again would guess malware or maybe a driver issue
