Software for checking northbridge temperature ?

Hello, i just replaced motherboard in my lenovo x60 thinkpad laptop, there was thermopad on NB but i replaced it by termopaste and now i want to check temperature of NB if its not too high.What software(open source should be best) can display NB temp for me ?

A component would first have to have a temperature sensor but even if it does most temperature checking SW is generic and can't display which exact point is used. Some most common programs are HW Info, CPID-HW Monitor, Speedfan. To ascertain which sensor is displayed under which function, you'd have to experiment a bit. It would help if you have access to it to touch it.
