Hello everybody,

just got a used Sapphire Nitro+ 5700XT SE for around 330 euros (hope it's not that bad a deal). This is going to my son's rig which atm has a 600W PSU (nothing fancy).

I've ordered a Seasonic GX650 (IIRC) that will arrive in the next 2-3 weeks, but in the meantime I have this old modular 700W Coolermaster RS-700-ASAA-A1 unit. This unit does offer two 6-pin inputs, but no 8-pin ones (the Sapphire needs two 8-pin ones).

Questions:
1) Any chance this could drive the 5700xt for a couple of weeks? Yes, I do know that these cards are very finnicky about the PSU...

2) If I could, how I could go about converting 6-pin and other outputs to two 8-pins?

Posting some images of the PSU at https://ibb.co/BGWd1Fy and https://ibb.co/g9Bm0gJ

Sorry, but I'd agree in that you should wait for the new unit. If your power supply does not come with the necessary cables for your new graphics card, it wasn't designed to deliver the required power. Regardless of the unit, I would not risk the 330€ I just spent trying to use the old power supply.
