Hello everyone, it's about 2-3 years i have this gaming notebook and today i finally decided to replace the thermal paste.

The thermal paste is grizzly kryonaut (12.5W/mK)
The back of its box says: specific for overclock, high thermal conductivity, no electric conductivity, no maintenance, long lasting.

So i unscrewed fans and pipes, i unplugged Battery, SDD, HDD, RAM and WLAN module.
Then i cleaner with paper and alcol the old thermal paste and applied the new one.

I replugged everything (battery last) and turned on the notebook. It didnt start. I plugged the power cable and it started, sadly without video.
The HDMI port also gives no signal.

I repeated the process and saw some thermal paste was out of border, so i cleaned again and applied less thermal paste.

Yet no video. Cpu fan is working, keyboard lights turn on, but no video output. GPU fan is off. Only CPU fan is spinning.

Notebook: MSI GE62 7RE Apache Pro
i7 7700HQ
GTX 1050Ti 4GB
12GB RAM
SSD 128GB
HDD 1TB

I would add the two buttons above the keyboard (fans speed and keyboard lights mode) do work. Fan speed goes to turbo and keyboard lights change (even if not in the programmed ways).
And fans turbo mode makes also GPU fan spin.

Solution
The problem was with the RAM. I broke one of the two chips in the process.
I tried one of them per time and it worked fine with one of them only.
