Will the Amd Fx-8320 Work out of the box with the asrock 970 pro3 r2.0?
It says needs bios update prior to running vishera cpus., Im a newbie and on a budget. I dont want any surprises after buying it.

Personally I would not use a board with weak and uncooled vrms to power a 125w 8 core cpu. Also that PSU is garbage, never skimp on the PSU it can cause many problems and even damage other hardware. Also for the ram you should get 2x4Gb stick so you can take advantage of dual channel operation.

Some motherboards were created before the cpu was released, therefore pc part picker tell you that it may need a bios update. However, most manufacturers update the bios before sale.
