[citation][nom]back_by_demand[/nom]Apple couldn't care less about it's customers, this whole exercise stinks of a cynical plot to steal the thunder from Microsoft's Friday release of Windows 8 and Surface...They are so bitter they just can't stand for anyone else to have any kind of media attention, well, keep it up and watch the iOS App for MS Office just fail to appear and the business world drops iPads like a bad smell when they can get full Office, Exchange and a real OS on a Surface Pro...And Rev Jim Jones' followers loved him and they all still drank the Koolaid, the iPad is a toy, always has been a toy and always will be a toy - I like toys, but if you want people to be truthful then realise that the business world is where the real money is in the IT game. Those Fortune 500 companies that are using iPads are only doing so because there has never been a viable alternative. Tell me the Pegatron made Surface Pro is not a beautiful, powerful bit of hardware, and i'll show you a liar.[/citation]
The Surface is kinda meh on hardware. Not horrible, but nothing worth praising either. As far as Windows tablets go, they have a pretty bad track record in this area. Maybe this will be different? It may be, but that is still a big unknown. I do hope though that it kicks Androids butt. Unreliable, flaky, and upgrades being a gamble isn't really all that hard to beat.
