are you watching the movies that play between the Acts? Anyway. No,
Baal escaped from the chamber before you got there. You wont meet him
until...... much much much later.

It wasnt a space problem, LOL it was more or less just that I had so
many of them and was not finding nearly as many upper halves to go with
them.

Cripes. Don't stop picking them up. You can get some really good stuff
from the eggs, i.e., runes, pgems, potions.

I know. I got a kick outta that myself. I spend more time running back
and forth to my stash just to put things away. Trying to organize my
stash has become a problem. I was trying to reserve x amount of pages
for my gems, x amount of pages for my runes, x amount of pages for my
gold item swords, dirks, maces, armor, etc. etc. You get the point. I
save "everything" that I think might be useful at some point in time by
any character I may choose (shared stash). Barely have anything in the
personal stash, but that's always another option, just in case I happen
to run outta room in my shared stash - hahahaha

Another hint from the Forums: Use the +10 pages button instead of the
+1 one. You can set the first 10 pages for gems that way (if you're
relatively sure you won't need more than 10, and you shouldn't if you
got the gem bags from the vendor in Act 2 (can't remember the names
ATM, either the potions vendor or the gambling one)), the next ten for
runes, etc.

Oh for cripes sake, I never thought of that. I'll need to go back and do a
total reorganization. That's such a good idea. Thanks for passing it
