I'm having some problems with an nvme m.2, i have an i5 4570 and my mobo is a Z97MPLUSBR , i never used an nvme m.2 ssd so i guess it was only plug in , but it doesn't , when i installed all works correctly but the speed it's not correct , it's suposed to be in 2000mb/s - 1800mb/s read speed, but i get only 800 mb/s, my whole config is:

cpu: i5 4790
mobo: z97mPLus/Br
ram : 8gb ram ddr3 1333
gpu: gtx 960 4gb oc mini GB
psu: vs550 from corsair

please help me guys !

It's your motherboard. According to the manual, it only has a bandwidth of 10Gb/s on the M.2 port as opposed to modern motherboards that have 32Gb/s.

Unfortunately, not quite as your motherboard is only PCIe 2.0 in the secondary graphics card slot. The best you could hope for is around 1.6GB/s. That's still a big step up from SATA speeds though.

From the manual...

1 x PCIe 3.0 / 2.0 x16 (x16 mode)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode)
