So I put my brand new PC to stress test (as suggested from this forum some mins ago) and I have some questions. when testing my CPU, no errors or blue screens, works smooth. on the other hand, temperature went above 75 C (its limit on i5 4430, based on intel's website) so I got little scared and I shut down the test. time: 6 min 32 seconds. it has stock fan with pre applied thermal paste. PC case is old (bought it in 2005 I think), has no case fans (had 1 but I removed it cuz its broken).
my gpu handled pretty good! its 960GTX FTW edition with pre-installed backplate. test time :16 min 43 seconds, temperature didn't go above 66 C, and fans were silent as ****. if fans went 100% it would hold 50-55 I think, or lower.
so what do you guys think?
and also this doesn't damage my PC right? #newbie
