Something in WIn 7 is killing office 07 setup exe

When I run MS office 07 setup exe something is killing it. have uninstalled norton. any suggestions?

MS Office and Win 7 are legit. MS Office is educational version purchased thru school. It happens as soon as you click on the executable for office. small window opens and closes before you can read.
