Something Wrong with OpenGL?

For as long as I can remember, I've had numerous problems with openGl rendering. Especially when it comes to running openGL games such as Amnesia. They run horribly despite the fact that I meet the system requirments. I have Intel HD Graphics with Intel Core i3 m-370 which apparently supports openGL 2.1, but something isn't right. I ran a program called "OpenGL Extensions Viewer" and I get the following error message:

System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected
memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.
at openglex.Win32.oevClientInitialize()
atopenglex.oevDetect.backgroundWorker1_DoWork(Object sender,
DoWorkEventArgs e)

I can never decipher these kinds of messages so does anybody know what this means? Thanks!

I know but it's a laptop so the GPU cannot be changed. Full specs:

Hp Pavilion G6-1c75ca
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i3-m370
Intel HD GRaphics
6Gb RAM
750Gb Harddrive

So is this error message anything to suggest something is wrong, or is it simply lack of effort on Intel's part?
