Hi all, So I have a Sony Bravia kd-55x8509c 4k tv. It's running Sony's android OS and is updated to the latest firmware. Now, the tv has a "cast to device" function where other devices like my windows laptop can play video/ audio directly on to the tv if both are connected to the same network (our home broadband). So, if I have a video (default player VLC media player) on a windows 10 laptop, right clicking on it gives me an option to "cast to device", wait a few seconds and the tv (provided that it's already on and not on standby) then automatically plays that particular video. This has been working fine, however, it has now stopped working, for whatever reason. Clicking "cast to device" now does not work. The tv says it is "loading" and then says that it "cannot play video", following which my laptop is disconnected from the internet and will only connect back to it after a restart. Any ideas? I will provide images etc. of what pops up if needed. Oh, and as a side note, I don't know if the TV uses bluetooth for this to work or an internet connection, and when i bought the tv i did not go through any setups on my windows laptop to get this to work, I just sort of accidentally stumbled upon it and thought it was a cool feature.
thanks
