Sony DCR-HC19E camcorder software

Hello,

I have a Sony DCR-HC19E camcorder and lost all the cabling. I maged to get a USB with the hope of transfering video recorded to my laptop. Unfortunately the laptop does not recognise the camcorder. My laptop operates on Windows 7. Is it possible to transfer videos through a USB cable? If so, could you please help me obtain drivers for the camcorder? Thank you in advance.

Did you get a response as I have the same make & model and have lost the original CD rom but have bought a USB to camcorder cable & a USB to firewire and still my laptop doesnt recognise ?
