I've just had to replace a damaged hard drive on a Sony Vaio VPCJ21M1E All-in-One Desktop PC.
I also needed to install a fresh copy of Windows 10 Pro. While the install went well. the touch screen is no longer working. If I look at the Device Specifications in Windows Settings, it says "No pen or touch input is available for this display".

Since the chipset drivers for this model are no longer available from the Sony website, I have no idea how to restore the touchscreen functionality.
Could anyone advise?

Every driver you have meant for the laptop, install them in compatibility mode, i.e, Right click installer>Properties>Compatibility Mode>Windows 7 or below(from the drop down menu). You could use this link by Driver Scape but you will need to take every link that comes off that site with a huge grain of salt.

Sony's support site meant for your laptop isn't working for me since it says it's down due to maintenance.

Thanks for your reply. I found a message on the Sony site saying that they would be removing all drivers, etc, from their website in early 2023.
Thanks a bunch, Sony...

I tried the drivers at that link - no luck I'm afraid. If anyone happens to have a touchscreen driver for a Vaio all-in-1 VPCJ21M1EB I'd be really grateful if you could send a link
