SOSpowerswitch/resetswitch- two pin connectors-which one is the GROUND

Silly question, thank you in advance

So i just installed new mobo to my ATX case and I would like to set up the power switch and reset switch that goes from my case to the mobo. THe thing is that on my mobos manual it actually tells me that on this two pin connector one should be the ground and the second the power.

So now I'm confused and I wish not to fry my mobo. so I dont see on the pin connector which one is the ground cable. For example the pin connector for the power switch is in two colors: one is RED and second WHITE, so I asked two guys already that most of the times WHITE is the ground but on the other side i checked couple websites where people states that it really doesnt matter which one goes where because they are neutral or something like that.

I noticed that there is a correlation between reset swtich and power switch where both has WHITE line with other color included. So my guess is that the WHITE WOULD BE THE GROUND AND THE OTHER COLOR WILL BE THE POWER>

since "all standard ATX power switches are momentary" you think it shouldnt matter which way the 2 pin connector will be pluged?

It doesn't matter. The case switch just connects the two pins. You can turn your pc on by touching the two pins with a screwdriver if you like! Just connect it whichever way round you think looks nicest!
You will need to observe correct polarity for your power/hdd LEDs though. (You won't blow up your board if you get these the wrong way round though! The lights just won't come on!)
