[SOLVED] sound dies while using a vpn

(apologies if this is in the wrong thread category) iso i have a razer kraken running through the razer 7.1 surround sound software, and i have for a long time with no problems, i recently was using a vpn and for some reason while vpn’s my sound completely cut out from just that one input, i unplugged the headset and used another jack in my monitor and ran it though the surround sound software and it was completely fine, and then i tried to see if maybe i just unplugged it slightly or something but nothing of the sort, and then as soon as i disabled my vpn the sound came back, just wondering what this could be? any help is appreciated

Have you tried using different VPN just to ensure its not "any" driver collision.

ive used other vpn’s in the past with no problem

seems to be an issue with the razer engine, completely just stopped working and stuttering all sound going through it

I hate to say this here, but I personally hate the razer software of that typical reason or other software drivers which leads into that problem. Never heard or had that problem.
My opinion is to ask Razer themself. Because Im stumped.

it was down to the jack extender, after replacing it it seems to be completely fine, the vpn issue was just circumstantial, i appreciate the response anyways
