Sound disappears randomly

Hi, I have an issue where my sound totally randomly disappears, for about a second and then it returns back to normal, i can go a day without it happening, or it happens a few times a day. I have updated my Audio drivers, and I also have a soundcard (Xonar DGX) which does exactly the same as the motherboards audio, a little less often it seems though. But still. Anyone got any ideas of what it may be?

Msi Gaming 5

Intel 4790k

Msi gtx 770

Crucial ballistix 8Gb

Xonar DGX soundcard

I am thinking that it may be due to the speaker solution. Try it in another source and see of the cable has issues. Also, look for speaker wire running near power cords, especially running parallel to them.

Hm, I have tried both with a 3.5mm for my headset, and an optical cable for the receiver, and both have this issue. The cables do not seem to run along any power cords.
