Hello, I recently bought a BT adapter to connect my wireless earbuds to my PC. I ran into a few issues during the initial setup, but I was able to get everything working and have had no issues with it up until now. The problem I have is I take the earbuds out of the case and it automatically connects to the PC I can hear it say connected in the earbuds but no audio plays through the buds themselves. The thing is I open the sound settings in Windows and have the earbuds selected as the audio source and where the volume slider is I can see the animation of sound being played yet I hear nothing from my earbuds. I have tried all the basics like reconnecting the earbuds along with restarting my PC, as well as trying a few things I found online like turning off hands-free telephony is turned but I am still having the issue. Also, I tested the earbuds with my phone and they worked fine so they shouldn't be the issue.

Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

For reference, I am using the JBL Tunebuds found here

Thanks

ate you sure the buds are connected to the pc and not your phone? disable bluetooth on the phone while connecting to the pc.
delete the paired buds from the bluetooth settings of windows, pair again
ehich adapter are you using
Yes, I made sure that BT was turned off on my phone and they showed connected in Windows. Also, I already tried unpairing and repairing the earbuds with no luck as well as removing and plugging the adapter back in. Lastly, the adapter is from TP-Link specifically this model I think

Thanks

did you install the latest driver for the adapter?

did you turn on audio or unmute it via windows sound?
did you chose the buds in windows sound as default audio
The answer is yes to all of your questions. I have a pair of wired earbuds and they work just fine. However, they are just a cheap pair, and want to use the BT earphones because they have better sound quality.
