Question Sound issue

Ok this issue is slowly driving me crazy.
So I'll do this in bullet points.
When playing videos on youtube or through VCL ect it takes sometimes about 2-3 seconds for the sound to switch on. Sometimes longer if the volume is set low.
Every 2-3 hours, I get a massive pop sound on the speaker, like really loud, like something is going to blow.
I've tried the onboard soundcard and I am using Asus one now in the PCI slot and the same thing is happening.
I've tried two sets of speakers Gaming chair and I've just bought a creative Stage soundbar same thing on both.
Above two points makes me think its something to do with windows 10, to me at least seems like windows is telling my sound to go to sleep and I can't work out how to stop that feature.

Any help would be very much welcome and might save me going insane.

Ok after two restarts it installed a HD audio driver.
Still happens.
Seems if the volume isn't high enough the speaker won't play sound, like its in sleep mode, so I think it has to be the speaker now.
Do you think its faulty or just a over the top power saving feature?

Most annoying part of it is how sound in films or games if its quiet for a little bit won't come back on right away, so you get these 2-3 seconds of silence.
