Hey everyone, so Ive been having some sound issues with certain games on my pc, things like gta, csgo, and a few select others work just fine, however, games like diablo 3, doom eternal, phasmophobia, escape from tarkov and a couple others have absolutely no sound when in game. when I look in my sound mixer it shows no audio is even being shown through there in the graphs, ive changed sound settings in game and everything. I went through and physically disconnected all audio jack ports on my pc except the one I use to see if that would fix it, I have checked updates, and uninstalled/reinstalled realtek audio drivers updated all software on my pc and reverted to previous updates to see if that was the issue, my next steps will be to buy a seperate sound card and see if that works, and to also do a complete format of the pc including windows 10, i am at a loss and have no idea where to go from here
Specs:
I7 6700k
32bg ddr4
1050ti gpu
msi gaming motherboard z170a titanium

Solution
There's an HDMI soundcard built into the 1050Ti as well.
Check the Sound setting and make sure your Realtek or your speakers is the default playback device & spatial sound is off.
You may also need to select the playback device in the game as well.
