Ping'd and Pong'd

I still read, still post, but my involvement has certain decreased of late
as I find myself with less and less time to while away in front of the
computer reading posts. And, if I'm brutally honest, I think some of the
discussions aren't engaging me as much as they used to. Perhaps it's just
me, or perhaps it's the mix of people we have left.

I've been lurking here for a few years now. I still lurk and read what
interests me :)

This newsgroup is a bit like the Book Of Worlds Revised, really.

Me.

And I hesitate saying anything for Doug, as now is not the time to ask "Do
you still lurk there"? I'll direct him to this, none-the-less.

Still here but everybody seems to be talking about Exhalted in which I
have no interest.

Yep, still read. Haven't posted in forever; don't really have a good
reason. I enjoy the content, though I don't have Exalted, so that
cuts off some of the discussion. After running a Mage game for a
year, I'm just sort of burned out on WoD. Thinking of running some
Wushu, though. Mmmm, chi.

I occasionally catch up for a while. :) I've been working with a friend on
building a few variant rules onto Mage and Vampire to allow them to do
crossovers a little better, and give the game a bit more room for heroic
fantasy feel.

Today's useful rule: Give everyone an extra health box for each dot of
Stamina. Health boxes rotate through from Bruised on down, so someone with
Stamina 2 has two Bruised levels and two... Hurt, I think it is? Anyway,
this gives you a little more lattitude in handing out small damage without
instakills or triggering the Death Spiral. We were also letting Stamina
soak agg damage at Difficulty 9. Makes characters a tiny bit more survivable,
which we liked.
