I recently discovered that my county surpluses their older computer equipment. Most of the systems do not have HDs and little to no memory. I purchased a couple which only recognize 32MB of 128MB DIMMS so I would like to find a cheap source for the 32MB DIMMS.
Also the systems will not boot with 1 GB and larger drives. They will recognize the HDs, boot from floppy but not boot from the HDs. I had an ancient 128 MB HD, which I installed, and the system booted like a champ. When booting the systems with the larger HDs the system would hang on Verifying DPMI Pool so I would like to find a solution for the larger drive problem and a source for drives under 1 GB.
