I installed service pack 2 and had loads of major
problems so i unistalled it and went back to sp1 only to
find that my registry was f****d so i could not get into
windows! i have now had to use an illegal copy of xp to
get into my system! i had great trouble accessing files
from before as the permissions were all different and now
i am waiting for an external hard drive to arrive which
cost £83 so i can back up all my data (49.7 gb) and then
will use my recovery cd so i am a lagitimate user again!
i am thouroughly annoyed at microsoft for this as it
nearly cost me everythin on my computer and has cost me
80 pounds so i dont! i dont appreciate this at all and
would like to know if anyone else has had trouble so we
can lodge a complaint against microsoft!

OMG did MS hold a GUN to your head and FORCE you to
download the service pack BEFORE you did your homework
and research? NO. Get over it. I downloaded it fine,
other than Media Player lost sound. Uninstalled it. No
need for it really anyway. Sound came back.
