Asus P5q ( latest bios )
E6750 Core 2 duo 2.66ghz
2 gigs of ram.
40gig SSD hard drive.
XP service pack 3
Creative sound blaster XI-FI 5.1 ( drivers from instillation disk, newest drivers not compatible with xp 🙁 )
_______________
I can hear music loudly and clearly coming from my dj mixer (which is plugged into line-in), and the wave-form shows up, but neither Audacity, or Adobe Sound booth, can play back the audio after I've recorded it...
Its as if the wave form becomes empty and plays only a faint muffle...
I'm suspecting Windows XP is responsible for this.
any advice would be greatly appreciated this is very disheartening, I'm a DJ, and getting my mix tape recorded and distributed is what will help me land gigs and get jobs.
