Ok so i just finished my first ever pc build and i turned it on and when i did i saw a d heard a spark about an inch above the CPU area. This of course scared the crap out of me.

After this i turned it off and on again. There was no spark and there hasent been sense then, thank God, but the GPU fans turn on flr 15 sec then off again after every boot and i cand get a signal to my monitor. PLEASE HELP!

Specs:
CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x with stock cooler
GPU: MSI Armorn OC GTX 1070
PSU:Corsair 650W
RAM: G.skill 16 gb 2x8 3200Mhz

Solution
The fans not spinning is normal for these cards when under no or low load. That you get no image is not good of course.Tried all connectors? =hdmi/displayport/dvi

If having a speaker installed and getting one beep would that mean that boot is fine.Tried tapping delete to get into bios/uefi?
Can't say for sure, but maybe, could be the motherboard as well or just the gpu.The speaker is a helpfull tool to determine if a part missing or not behaving right gives a reaction.

You could rebuild the whole thing, but if it will help i cannot say for sure as well.

Can test by breadboarding, means take the motherboard and other parts out of the case, use only motherboard+1 stick of ram+gpu-> put the motherboard on the motherboard box insert the ramstick and gpu and see if you get a signal on the monitor (try tapping the delete button to get into the bios,so connect a keyboard as well ;]).

Problem solved, i had bought the wrong type of RAM. Appaertly you have to be very very specific. I bought the right type of ram now so i should be good now.

Thanks for all the advide i appreciate your efforts!

Yeah i didint think so eaither, its crazy at of all the supported G.skill ram i chose the wrong one. Typical for a newbie i guess.
