Question Speedfan, max speed at startup

My cpu fan goes %100 for 4 seconds when Speedfans begins, then normal. My settings and temps are OK in speedfan, I control my speeds with "advanced fan control" technique.
This is not a big problem, but I wonder is there a fix for this?

How new is your motherboard?

Speedfan hasn't been updated in a few years so could be missing all the profiles it needs

I used to control fans with speedfan, i prefer to let bios do it now and just use speedfan as a monitor

My motherboard is 10 years old. [gigabyte ga-g31m-es2l]

I have smart fan option in bios, but in smart fan mode fan runs at high rpm at idle, and it makes some noise. In speedfan, I can make better speed and noise control.

well, the apps age isn't a reason. It might be that it takes 4 seconds or so for windows to hand control of the fans over to speedfan when you start it up.

Has it always been 4 seconds or is this a new thing?

Settings of speedfan are complicated for me. It took 2 weeks to control my fan. I'm using advanced fan control graphic. I have this problem since I control my speeds. It is always 4 seconds, when loading speedfan.

This is a strange bug, or there is some setting I can not find.
