I played over my friends house. Its a really kool game. intense game! it plays more like rainbow six rather than metal gear. nonetheless u gotta play this game. It is more realistic than metal gear dunno if its better dont wanna sound biased. neway i read in Official Playstation Mag that splinter cell for PS2 is coming out early 2003.

I loved the original Rainbow 6 on PC, but wasn't too crazy about the Metal Gear: Solid for PS2. I guess it's the console-ish feel of Metal Gear. It all boils down to personal preference. I find renting games to be very worthwhile, it saves me a lot of $$$ by letting me know whether or not a game is worthwhile.

totally agree on the whole renting thing...

If you know you can beat games amazing fast... i'd deff rent the game first before you spend 49.99.. or even 55$ if you will beat it in 2 days and then just have it sitting under your tv for 9 months before you decide its time to go to funco land and trade it in, and they only give you store credit or offer you something like 15-21$.. when it's basically brandnew
