Hi, I've tried everything and nothing works, so I'm gonna ask here.

I have problem with my new SSD. Sometimes when I'm playing, the SSD usage goes to 100% (mostly for about 10 seconds). This problem occurs especially when playing FiveM (GTA), which is kinda RAM heavy app. I've noticed that disk usage is caused by pagefile.sys. I know what's page file for, so I don't want to disable it and I don't think that page file is the only reason for this problem. I've tried to change a lot of things with pagefile, but nothing solved the problem.

But I've noticed one strange thing, which is (I think) causing system and game freezing.
When disk activity goes to 100%, SSD is writing at speed of about 2-4mbps but after few seconds, the write speed jumps to 250mbps or more and the disk usage is gone.

I've purchased this SSD 3 weeks ago and played without problem the same game for 2 weeks. I've tried a lot of things - enabling AHCI, enabling high power settings, updating Windows, disabling superfetch, windows defender - nothing worked.

My specs:
CPU: Intel I5 6600K
GPU: GXT 1050Ti
SSD: Apacer AS350 (512GB) (OS and pagefile are located on SSD) + another HDD and external HDD
RAM: 12GB
MB: Gigabyte H110M
PSU: 550W (Seasonic)

Thanks for your answers and ideas, I would really apperciate them.

Is your SSD one that can sustain 400-500 MB/sec writes, or, one of the 'cache-less' budget models that drop to low write speeds after it's miniscule cache is exhausted...

Can't imagine why an SSD would ever slow writes to 2-4 Mbps....unless it is waiting on slower HDD reads.
