I have also no idea what's going on. Just now, when I'm going to turn on my PC, I realized that it took about 20 seconds on the "Starting Windows" screen when startup. It just happened JUST NOW, it was ok yesterday. I tried to ran chkdsk, disabled many stupid toolbars, Skype, game clients etc. at Services and msconfig, defragged my SSD, update the firmware of the SSD, change my SSD from IDE to AHCI, still the same! I'm really confused. :S My SSD is Corsair Force GT 120GB.

Solution
Defragmenting an SSD is futile and just wears on it. So avoid that in the future.

Was the SSD set to IDE mode or AHCI mode when you installed Windows? AHCI is better, but you can't just change it afterwards, it'll create issues (though that can be fixed with a registry hack).

Ok, thanks for the advice.

It's in IDE mode, but yeah I only realized that I need to do the registry hack after setting it to AHCI. Therefore, I open regedit but realized that the hack is set automatically so I don't think I need to do anything already.
