SSD getting hot while allocating disk space

I just built my first PC about a month ago. For some reason, the past couple of games I have downloaded have taken a while to allocate disk space. While allocating disk space my 447GB SanDisk SSD gets up to 60C. It takes about 25 minutes to allocate disk space and even longer to download a relatively small game.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? I am new to building PCs so I don't know if I did something wrong while building or if it is because I am running low on memory.
