hi

I had a problem after I changed my MB CPU and ram, after the upgrade the ssd is having issues in booting the operative system. It shows in the BIOS as a SATA device connected but not in the boot list. I formatted the SSD and reinstalled windows (From a USB the windows installer can detect and install on the SSD) but then again after the installation finishes I still having the issue with the SSD device not booting at all.

Extra detail: I forgot to mention that It boots with a Linux Live USB (Tested with Ubuntu)

My PC:
Intel i9 10900k
MB MSI z490 Gaming Plus
32GB Ram DDR4 2333MHZ
GTX 970 4GB

The first thing to take note of is that you cannot move a Windows installation from an old motherboard to a new one. It does need to be reinstalled as you configured.

As for the booting issue, what is the make and model of the SSD? Is it NVMe? In addition to that, when reinstalling Windows, did you make sure to configure the partitions on this SSD and not another drive?
