Hey guys please help. I tried to re-install Windows 7 64-bit on my desktop's ssd, so I disconnected the drive from my desktop, and connected to my laptop using a hard drive enclosure. I went to disk management, and deleted all partitions and data. Then, I put my laptop to sleep, disconnected the drive, and connected the drive back to my desktop. However during the installation process, the drive didn't show up, and I already set the sata mode as AHCI. I disconnected the drive from my desktop, and connected it to my laptop again, but this time it didn't show up in disk management. :fou: Do you guys know what happen? Is my ssd dead? Thank you very much for your help.

I don't know how to reformat it using win DVD. I thought I have to format it on another computer, and plug it back to my desktop to install Windows.

I'm a bit confused: Does the SSD show in BIOS when connected in the desktop?

If so, when you boot from the Windows DVD/USB drive, does it appear during installation?

It doesn't show up in the Bios or the computer management at all.
