SSD on a laptop

Hello i wanted to know can i add a 256 gb SSD on the HP envy 15t laptop,i wanted to expand it beyond the 1 tb HDD.

the only way to have both is via a caddy or an adapter which u install instead of the optical drive
some people said that it works perfectly others said it coast them tons of issues
u will need a user that tried it to tell u how good this solution is

Unless that particular model has room, as in a slot dedicated, for a second HDD then the other option is to remove the optical drive as suggested by Agzastrgath and use an HDD caddy. You will need a caddy designed for your specific laptop model. I have done this with two laptops (a Mac and a PC) and have not had problems with either one. The PC laptop is an older HP laptop.
