I bought new nvme ssd( adata xpg s70 2tb gen 4 ssd). At first it was visible in disk management but after I ran benchmark test on the ssd, it overheated and then crashed and not showing in disk management. Port is working fine as i have another ssd (wd sn570 1tb) that is working just fine on the same port.

Motherboard: Gigabyte b550 aorus pro v2 rev1.0
Failed ssd : xpg s70 2tb gen 4
Working ssd : wd sn570 1tb gen 3

I have also rma the s70 ssd and still same issue.

Perhaps have a fan aimed at the heatsink that goes atop of the SSD you've dropped into your motherboard? Speaking of heatsink, did your SSD come with a heatsink attached, out of the box? What BIOS version are you currently on for your motherboard?

Using heatsink that comes with mb as it is much bulkier than heatsink provided by xpg.
Bios version: f14
No fan is aimed at heatsink
