I bought a Asus N751JK-T7120H laptop.
Now I want to put in my ssd that i bought like a half year ago.
At the first look it looked to work fine, windows recognized it and I deleted all stuff from it.
But then I went to the BIOS to clone my hdd to the ssd.(I got a cd with clone software)
But then the BIOS don't recognize the ssd and when I start windows again it won't show up either.
Only when I get it out and install it again after some time it gets recognized in windows again but when I go to the BIOS i get the same problem.
The ssd is a kingston SSDNow V300.

Hey Sjomp. I'd recommend that you try the SSD with another computer to see if everything's OK with it. Do you think there might be a problem with the SATA connection of some sort? Also you could try backing up the data you need and make a fresh install instead of cloning. Sometimes there are some weird incompatibility and boot issues when it comes to cloning.

Note that if you decide to go with a fresh install of your OS, you shouldn't have any other HDDs connected while the installation process is running.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your answer.
I tried it into another computer and it's still working right.
And it is working in my new laptop at the moment.
I can do everything with it it just shows up in windows.
But when I go to the BIOS it will be gone and I will need to get it out again before I can get it working again.

Also about the cloning I don't have a windows 8 cd and it's a new laptop i bought it yesterday.
