Hello, wanted to ask if a Samsung 850 EVO M.2 is compatible with my h97m anniversary motherboard. Wanted to buy an ssd for my OS, WoW, and Steam and budget is pretty tight, it's either I buy a 120 gb 850 evo or a 240gb cheaper brand, what would you guys recommend? also brands if possible, can't buy any ssd online here that's cheap btw and no black friday sale.

Philippines, about $70 since I'm buying a new case too. Some brands being sold here that are easier to find are Kingston UV400, V300, Intel 520/535 series, Samsung Pro, Adata SP900, and some sandisk variants, Cruical ssd's are pretty overpriced here.

I HIGHLY recommend you save up a bit more for this, as the performance per dollar is quite large in the Phillipines: https://dynaquestpc.com/product/samsung-850-evo-250gb/
But its understandable if you don't want to spend that much, get this if that's the case.

This is what I mean by the performance difference is large: http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-850-Evo-250GB-vs-Adata-Premier-SP550-240GB/2977vs3623
