Hello,
recently my hard drive crashed on my
Asus Q304UA laptop crashing my windows 10. I have purchased a new ssd drive, a Samsung 850 Evo but the computer is not recognizing it so I cannot reinstall the windows on it. However I have to mention that it was sent with a cd and my computer doesnt have a cd slot so I cannot install the ssd software. Another reason why I cannot install the software is that I can only access the computer on the boot mode knowing that there is no operating system in it.
Anyone have a solution?

Does the SSD show in the BIOS?

You don't need drivers to use an ssd, its likely you need to change something in BIOS for it to boot from USB - see if this helps: https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1013017/
