SSD setup help

I’ve just installed my ssd and it shows in my bios but it doesn’t show when I try to boot it with windows it just shows hard disk. This is really getting annoying because nothing is working for me. All of the videos I’ve watched say to get a disk and put it in my disk drive but my pc doesn’t have one. This is my first build by the way

Click on the start button on your Windows desktop after that type disk management and press enter. You will see a Disk Management utility from there select your desired driver(SSD) right click on it and create the partition. After that, you will see an SSD partition.

What are you trying to do, exactly? Normally you use cloning software to copy the hdd windows partition to the SSD then make SSD the boot drive.

But, disconnecting the hdd and doing a clean install to the SSD is best.

I disconnected my HDD but when I try to load into windows it just sends me straight to the bios.
