[SOLVED] SSD stopped working

If you mean what type of ssd, I dunno, whatever comes with legion y730, the big 2.5 one (I have one stick one for windows, and one 1tb for files... the files one fell)

I'd try and find it BUT!

Since literally writing this post, I shut off this particular laptop for about 5 minutes, opened it again, and now it WORKS

So while I'm backuping files like crazy (and doing backflips of joy), can someone help me figure out what actually happened? And what to do / watchout for? A quick googling finds pcgamer saying "first off run chkdsk"; recommended?

So this is super embarassing but damn, you're right! I feel like an idiot (...i might be an idiot...) and for whatever reason (probably bevause I was GOING to upgrade to ssd combined with the panic from it crashing right now), I thought it's an ssd;
but yeah, now I think of it it's a regular HDD.

I'll probably take it to the warranty place just for them to check if it's loose or needs fixin. And I'll definitely research good automatic backup solutions.

Thanks!
