[SOLVED] SSD Suggestions

Hello,

I got a WD Caviar Blue 1TB for some years and I would like to upgrade from HDD to SSD. There are a few options bellow for ~45 euros and I don't know which is the best. I saw that Samsung is the fastest between them but the others are twice larger. Any suggestions?

SSD's Bellow :
Kingston A400 480GB
Western Digital WD Green 480GB
Samsung 860 Evo for Business 250GB

You have to get a SSD that you can put all your data on. If you have 500gb then you can't use any of them.
I like the Samsung because they have good "migration" software for cloning you old drive to the new samsung ssd.

Actually, I want to keep 1TB HDD as a secondary drive and only install windows to the SSD.

You can do it easily. 1TB will be okay.

Do not connect the cables on any other storage drives until you have windows installed and running on the new SSD. This applies if you're not cloning the previous drive, obviously.

The cloning sofware will move EVERYTHING across from the HDD to the SSD.
So get rid of what you don't want first from the HDD so that the SSD only moves Windows across.
