about the manual it only shows thisrefer to your motherbords user manuel for the specs not the features page. you will be able to download it by looking up the model number on MSI's website if you no longer have the paper copy that was included
here all the contents but don't see about ssd sepcs expect the one I posted earlieris it a quick guide manuel? their should be a list of specs on one of the first pages of it. if not then the full one is on the driver disk. but the full manuel should be on their website
thank you for your answer. btw aren't there 2 types of SATA M.2 drives - one with B&M key and another one with M key. the one with B&M key won't support right?1 x M.2 slot (Key M)
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-PRO-M2-V2/Specification
- Supports PCIe 3.0 x4 (1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen™, Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen™ with Radeon™ Graphics) or PCIe 3.0 x2 (Athlon™ with Radeon™ Vega Graphics) and SATA 6Gb/s 2242/ 2260/ 2280 storage devices
So - you can use PCIE (NVME) and SATA M.2 drives,
also 2.5" sata drives.
For exmple Samsung 970 Evo would be M.2 nvme drive,
Samsung 860 evo M.2 would be M.2 sata drive,
Samsung 860 Evo 2.5" would be 2.5" sata drive.
huh maybeThere's no need to be concerned about that.
What model M.2 drive did you have in mind?
ok thank you for the infoAll of them are compatible.
I'd stay away from Kingston A400. Lot of people are complaining about this model.
Adata Ultimate SU650 probably is best of those 3.
