And in the bios i cant find any options for ahci the biso is very basic not much to change at all and i have updated the bios to the latest version.

The ssd im trying to put in the laptop is a kingston A400 120gb.

And the laptop is a fuijitsu siemens amilo li 1705

I have a old laptop that runs vista that i want to upgrade to and ssd and upgrade to windows 10 and on the hdd that is in the laptop i have upgraded to windows 10.

A pc that happily installs win Vista may not be supported by the installer for win 10.
The hdd, if upgraded from 7, is using win 7 drivers which the win 10 installer may not have.
You might need to install WIn 7 on ssd before upgrading it to 10

AHCI started with WIn 7 but whether your bios has it is another matter. From what I can tell, it should have AHCI - https://translate.google.com/transl...oda.pl/szukaj,amilo-bios,500.html&prev=search

120gb isn't very big for win 10 anyway, we generally suggest a 250gb ssd.

the laptop have vista from factory not installed or anything and i did run the win 10 installer on the hdd and isntalled windows 10 without a problem on the hdd.

The problem is when i change the hdd to the ssd it wont show the ssd at all not in bios or when i run the windows 10 installer, the win 10 installer runs without a problem it is jsut when i want to install it and choose what drive there is no drive listed that should be the ssd.

and if i run the cmd in the isntaller and do diskpart and list disk it only shows the usb wich i run the win 10 installer from.
