Question SSD

So I got a SSD i plugged it into my computer made it a name and stuff and my games are not loading faster pretty much the same. Was I supposed to do anything like put files in the SSD or?

We're going to need more info than that. Are you using the SSD as a boot and games drive or are you using it mainly for storage? What is the make and model of your SSD?

I don’t know it’s sounds crazy but I was told my game times would be faster if I got this so I did. It’s a Samsung EVO 500G

Only things on the SSD would load faster, so you'd have to install the games there to notice any difference. Most people clone the system drive to the SSD so Windows would load faster too. An empty SSD isn't going to speed things up any more than it would in a drawer.
