I'm sharing my internet connection with a friend and we have serious problems with the stability of the router.
We're looking for a router that can handle bittorrent (heavy load) without any problem and also be able to play some games and such. Our internet connection is 100/10Mb/s.

I would really appreciate some help and thanks in advance.

Well if your connection speed isn't the bottleneck the thing that gives you the fastest BT downloads is maximum simultaneous connections. Check out the router chart and figure out what you want to pay.

I suggest stuff with atheros chipsets like D-link or Trend net for low end and apple for high end. I use a D-link DI-634M thing hasn't skipped a beat along with a couple airport expresses to get internet to my xbox and stream music. Apple is a pain to configure don't let the brand blind you but there routers are great for range and perfomance. I run 8 computers at my apparment I had 3 wired. Now that I'm home I have all of them wireless just connecting to the router with the strongest signal. I've done multicasting everything never had a problem.
