Hello, currently I have a laptop, but I'm saving for a computer dedicated to Star Citizen. I have no anxiety as the game will not come out until 2017, but I'm very outdated and want to catch up with and what I need, because I have a limited budget. I apologize if I make a mistake, I'm Spanish.
I do not want to overclock and I want to play at 1920x1080 so I've been searching on hardware based on that:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5Ghz / 212€ (I've read everywhere it's the best I5 and the sweet spot right now. I7 are too expensive for me. What about Xeon?)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 Gaming G1 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 / 362€ (I've read it's the sweet spot right now. Enough for Star Citizen?)
MOBO: H97-PRO Asus Gamer / 144€ (I've seen this very interesting for it's price, but I do not know anything about motherboards. I have understood H97 is what I want because I do not want to overclock, but the truth is this topic confuses me a lot)
I do not know how to choose the next, but I've seen this have good quality / price (I think):
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 16GB PC3-12800 2x8GB DDR3 1600 CL10 / 79€
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO / 28.95€
SSD: Samsung 850 Series 250GB SATA3 SSD Evo / 89.95€
HARD DRIVE: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB SATA3 / 44.75€
PSU: 750W Tacens Mars Gaming Vulcano 80 Plus Silver / 63.50€
CASE: NOX Coolbay SX Devil USB 3.0 / 49.90€ (This has window, I don't care about that but I read It's a cold case)
SCREEN: 27MP37VQ-B LG 27 "LED IPS / 205€ (The cheaper 1920X1080 I've found. I do not know if it's good, because there are others so much expensive.)
Well, this is all I have for now. All opinions, recommendations and views are welcomed. I've tried to build an AMD alternative, but I don't know almost anything about AMD CPUs and GPUs, and for what I've seen the price difference It's not so big, and I want a durable PC.
